Our Practice
Australia is a popular migration destination with opportunities for skilled professionals and business people. However the migration laws are very complex and ever changing. There is no other area of law that changes as often as migration law and it is therefore essential that you have an industry expert on your side who can keep abreast of the law and policy in order to give you up to date legal advice.
At Shand Taylor Lawyers, our aim is to provide strategic, timely, cost effective and practical legal advice regarding the many types of visa categories in the migration program. Our migration law team is focused on delivering outcomes that are tailored to each client’s individual circumstance so we will work with you to prepare, lodge and monitor the correct visa application.
Shand Taylor Lawyers practices in business and skilled migration with a particular focus on employer sponsored long stay (temporary) 457 business visas, skilled visas, student visas, family visas and sportspersons and distinguished talent visas. We also work directly with companies and sponsors to provide advice on employer sponsor obligations, to achieve sponsorship approval and to otherwise provide advice on all general visa and immigration related matters.
Partner Brad Clark (Migration Agents Registration Number 1174010) has many years of experience as a property and commercial lawyer which will be invaluable with dealing with the often complex and difficult statutory and policy interpretation matters that arise on a daily basis with migration cases. Brad will give you comprehensive support with all of your migration and visa matters together with all other related commercial legal issues (e.g. foreign investment requirements, property transactions, leasing transactions, asset protection advice and estate planning advice).
