Lachlan Taylor is a law graduate currently completing a supervised traineeship with the firm.
Lachlan started working with Shand Taylor Lawyers in 2018 as a law clerk and has since graduated from the Queensland University of Technology in 2019 with a Bachelor of Laws (First Class Honours). He is aiming to be admitted as a solicitor in February 2021.
During his studies, Lachlan was the recipient of a Vice-Chancellor’s Scholarship and represented QUT at the World Indigenous Law Conference in Canada. He also received a prize for his clinical legal placement with the Cherbourg Aboriginal Shire Council.
As part of his traineeship, Lachlan has gained experience in a range of complex and interesting matters involving property development, commercial leasing, business services, and corporate governance. Lachlan has also been involved in our pro bono practice and volunteers his time at the Brisbane North Community Legal Service.
Lachlan will also complete a rotation in our dispute resolution team and is committed to developing his skills in providing practical, timely advice for clients.
