Eve Lee-Roberts

Associate

Eve is an associate in our dispute resolution team.

Her areas of expertise include commercial litigation, employment and industrial law, defamation, property litigation, professional negligence claims and the resolution of company disputes.

Eve has over 10 years’ experience in the legal industry and has been admitted since August 2022. She holds a Bachelor of Bachelor of Laws (Hons) and Behavioural Science from the Queensland University of Technology and a Graduate Diploma in Law from the College of Law.

Prior to joining Shand Taylor, Eve was a civil litigation associate at a boutique law firm, where she helped develop the employment law team.

Eve has been involved in several successful litigation and employment law matters, including:

  • defending a constructive trust claim against her client’s real property, which resulted in the parties settling and her client retaining ownership of the property;

  • acting for an employee in an unfair dismissal matter, which resulted in orders and a decision in her client’s favour including a compensation payment;

  • obtaining injunctive relief and damages for a business against a former employee who was in breach of their restraint obligations;

  • defending a claim for breach of the Australian Consumer Law and fraud, which resulted in the claim against her client being dismissed;

  • defending a claim against her client for civil fraud, with the matter being settled before pleadings closed; and

  • acting for employees in general protection applications, all of which resulted in settlements including compensation payments.

Eve always ensures she takes the time to understand her client's position and objectives so that she can guide them to a commercial outcome.
