Law Graduate

Georgina Close is a law graduate in our building and construction team. Georgina holds a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) from Leeds Beckett University.

Georgina is currently completing Practical Legal Training at the College of Law and is expected to be admitted as a lawyer in July 2025.

Georgina has developed a keen interest in construction law and assists the team in a broad range of areas such as contract drafting, adjudication disputes and commercial dispute resolution, and has experience in residential, commercial and civil construction. 

More specifically, Georgina has been involved in acting for a builder in terminating a subcontract for defective works, assisting with proceedings to recover the cost of rectifying defects and liquidated damages and the review of contracts to advise on the areas of potential risk to the client.
