Charlie Hodgetts

Charlie Hodgetts is a lawyer within our dispute resolution team.  Charlie holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Journalism from the Queensland University of Technology and a Masters of Legal Practice from the Australian National University.

Charlie has advised a wide variety of clients in commercial disputes including debt recovery and insolvency, property and leasing disputes, trade practices, building and construction, intellectual property and sports law, where he believes in a pragmatic approach to resolving disputes.

Charlie has acted for retail and commercial landlords and suppliers of goods and services in their debt recovery and insolvency matters.  Charlie has also acted for liquidators and bankruptcy trustees in relation to insolvency related proceedings.

Charlie also has experience in employment matters, advising both employers and employees regarding the enforcement of restraints of trade and other terms of employment contracts, unfair dismissal claims and redundancy.

Charlie’s focus is to ensure his clients are fully aware of all risks and options available by working with them closely and treating each individual case on its merits.

Charlie has memberships with the following professional organisations:

  • Industrial Relations Society of Queensland
