Our Practice

Our lawyers aim to give common sense legal advice to cover all stages of the building process including the formation of construction contracts through to the resolution of building disputes.

We act for property developers, homeowners, builders, subcontractors, and associated professionals such as architects and engineers. We can advise clients on construction contracts and look to find creative, practical solutions to any problems that may arise during the building process.

We have represented builders, subcontractors, and building owners (both commercial and residential) in all courts including the Building List of the Queensland Civil and Administrative Tribunal and have acted for a variety of subcontractors and principals in disputes arising under the Building Industry Fairness (Security of Payment) Act 2017 and Queensland Building and Construction Commission Act 1991.
